Earlier on 23 February 2019 Afghanistan scored 278/3 against Ireland and on 30 August 2019 the Czech Republic scored 278/4 against Turkey and Nepal broke this record and set a new record.

2. Highest Run Rate

Nepal has also set the record for the highest run rate. After scoring 314 runs against Mongolia, Nepal's run rate was 15.7. 

On 23 February 2019, Afghanistan scored 278/3 against Ireland at a run rate of 13.9.

3. Most Six

There was another record in the name of Nepal, the highest number of six. The Nepali batsmen scored 314 runs while hitting 26 sixes. This is a new record.

Earlier this record was held by the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic batsman hit 22 sixes while scoring 278 runs against Turkey on 30 August 2019.

4. Fastest Century by Kushal Malla

Along with breaking the record, Kushal Malla also scored 314 runs against Mongolia. He made a record by scoring a century in just 34 balls. He broke the record of David Miller of South Africa. Miller scored 100 off 35 balls against Bangladesh on 29 October 2017.

He was unbeaten on 137 runs and ranked fifth in the list of cricketers who scored the most runs in a single innings in T20Is. Aaron Finch is number one. He has scored 172 runs.

5. Fastest Half-Century By DS Airee

Additionally, Dipendra Singh Airi set a world record during the game against Mongolia.

He scored fifty in just 9 balls and became the batsman who scored 50 runs in the fewest balls in T20Is. Earlier this record was held by Yuvraj Singh of India. He scored a half-century in 12 balls against England on 19 September 2007.

6. Highest Strike Rate

Another record was registered in the name of Ari. That is the highest strike rate. In just 10 balls, he scored 52 runs without being out, and his strike rate was 520.00.

Earlier, Dwayne Smith of the West Indies held the record. He had a strike rate of 414.28 and scored 29 runs off of just 7 balls against Bangladesh on September 13th, 2007.

7. A wide margin of victory

Nepal defeated Mongolia by 273 runs. This is the biggest margin of victory in T20.

Earlier on 30 August 2019, the Czech Republic defeated Turkey by 257 runs.
